Through the Black Women in Church and Society and its Womanist Scholars in Religion Program, facilitates inclusion and full participation of Black women in the life and work of the church and the larger society.

Through the Resource Center for Women & Ministry, supports ordained and lay women in ministry; conducts conferences and symposia.

Through the Women’s Network Initiative, offers a series of multireligious consultations with women leaders, activists, and academics, accompanied by focused research, local convenings and the creation of a documentary film named Acting on Faith: Women’s New Religious Activism in America.

Through the Doctorate of Ministry program with International Feminist Emphasis, invites theologically trained women who are leaders in their churches and communities to share in a global learning community representing a wide variety of Christian traditions, with a majority of participants from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe.

Through the Women, Religion and Globalization Project, explores relationship between women religious practitioners and political, economic and social developments locally, around the world and in the larger context of international affairs.
