November Faith and Feminism Brown Bag Lunch 11/17/2008
November's Faith and Feminism Brown Bag Lunch was facilitated by Sarah Sayeed, program associate for The Interfaith Center of New York and board member of Women in Islam, Inc. and Muslim Consultative Network. At The Interfaith Center, Sarah coordinates the Rabbi Marshall Meyer Retreat for Social Justice, a program that brings together diverse New York religious leaders to discuss social justice concerns. Sarah also works on the newly emerging European Sister-City initiative, which will create opportunities for the center to share lessons and strategies with their European counterparts.
