For The Sister Fund, being H.O.T. is about being Healers of Our Time—spiritual justice seekers committed to creating positive change. As our executive director, Kanyere Eaton, said at our Come in from the Cold celebration, “Now you know you grew up and the last thing you thought of a religious woman was that she was hot. And you almost had to choose: I’m gonna love God or I’m gonna be hot. We are here tonight to say—at last, my darlings, you can have it all!”
So, what do you think? Can religious women be H.O.T.? Are you H.O.T.? Does this new definition of H.O.T. women being the Healers of Our Time speak to you or to your organization? Why or why not?
