The National Council of Women's Organizations (NCWO) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit umbrella organization of more than 200 groups, which collectively represent over 10 million women across the country from all socioeconomic and demographic groups. It is the only national coalition of its kind.
NCWO and the National Council of Black Women (NCBW) have partnered to create the Church Ladies Project, to transform the electorate by involving women of color and women of faith. NCWO, NCBW and affiliate organizations will bring together Black women from all sectors, regions and demographic backgrounds to provide information and resource tools to take electoral action. The Church Ladies Project works with partner organizations having a membership pool of approximately 2.4 million Black women.
