The Dallas Women’s Foundation is a community foundation which believes that an investment in women is the fastest and surest way to strengthen the entire community; when you help a woman, you help her entire family, and when you assist a family to break the cycle of poverty, you improve the entire community. Granting $2 million annually, the Dallas Women’s Foundation has invested over $13 million in more than 950 organizations, primarily in Dallas, Denton and Collin counties, assisting more than a quarter of a million of the regions’ women and girls. The Dallas Women’s Foundation values gender equity, empowerment of women, inclusion & professional integrity, and strives to be a recognized leader in women’s philanthropy, grant making and gender-specific research. The Foundation is also working to create, advocate for and steward an inclusive donor community. The Foundation wants all women and girls to possess the dignity, skills and resources to be strong, independent, self-sufficient and contributing members of the community.
