application guidelines

The Sister Fund no longer accepts unsolicited proposals. Consideration for grants is by invitation only. Please do not inquire by telephone, mail, or email.

TYPES OF GRANTS

The Sister Fund supports organizations whose work is explicitly:

  • relevant to both faith and feminism
  • focused on empowerment of women and girls

GRANT RESTRICTIONS

We are unable to support:

  • groups which do not have their own 501 (c) (3) or a fiscal sponsor with 501 (c) (3) IRS tax determination
  • individuals
  • state, county or municipal agencies
  • capital/building acquisition or improvements
  • scholarship funds or student aid
  • deficit financing

PROJECTED GRANT DISTRIBUTION

  • Annual grant amount: $500,000
  • Grant range: $5,000 - $30,000
